- JJJustmeDec 31, 20251.0This is the WORST Credit Union we have ever dealt with. The merger caused us all kinds of problems. For 5 years we have had a car loan with auto payments set up and NEVER missed a single payment. The merger came along yet the Auto payments didn't follow. TWO MONTHS LATER we get a letter from PEAK stating that we were on a repo list!! WHAT!!! FIRST OF ALL, we did NOT get a letter about the merger and didn't even know who PEAK WAS since we had moved out of state 2 years ago. Last we knew, it was Twin Star. It STILL said TWIN STAR on the bank statement. When I called, they said to log in and reestablish auto payments. We have NEVER logged into anything. I told them that it was a direct payment from the bank. They said to go to PEAK, create an account. I go to do that and because it is an existing loan, they wanted existing log in info. WE DIDN'T HAVE THAT! It WAS our fault for not looking at the bank statement and not realizing the payment was not taken out. However, my husband was in the ICU UNIT for over a month fighting for his life and making sure the auto payments were being taken out was the last thing on my mind. The customer service at this establishment is beyond ridiculous and impossible to deal with!!! HEY PEAK!!! IF YOU DO A MERGER-DO IT COMPLETELY!!! DO BETTER!
