Umpqua Bank helps people, businesses and communities find financial solutions that fit.
We do so by treating our customers like people, not numbers. We get to know them and find products and services that meet their needs and goals. And we give back to the communities we serve because it helps us all.
Umpqua offers the best of both worlds – the financial expertise and strength of a national bank with the customer service and care of a community bank.
We own property and a recreation home in Forks, WA. This was our first property acquisition some forty plus years ago and we do feel like we are a part of the community but mostly recreation! Last Wednesday August 17, 2022, my husband and arrived in Forks to play and received the news from our Seattle realtor that a condo we were selling had important papers that he was emailing that needed to be copied, signed and FAXED back by noon on August 18th or we might loose the deal!
We drove into Forks, stopped at Umpqua Bank, went in and explained what we needed to Carol, the Manager and Shilo Salsgiver, Customer Solutions Associate took care of everything and we made our deadline!!
Umpqua Bank really proved their motto, Your all about customer bank person! We appreciate so much their professionalism and sending us on our way. We recommend Umpqua and our next banking business,we will be seeking the Forks Branch to help us out.
Thank you so much,
Ralph and Jennifer Jenkins

I love Umpqua bank in forks. The tellers are friendly and not so friendly that they seem fake like other places I've been. Plus it's a small town so everyone knows everyone. And Carol, the manager is an angle. I had an account with them a while back and had opened it because they said it would stop me paying the check cashing fee which I didn't mind and said I could have my disability deposited to my account so I could have one card with all my money in one account which is not good for some people but would be perfect for me and it was untill it wasn't but it had nothing to do with the tellers. I just got my check on the 3rd every month and would just leave about 30$ in my account and I would end up needing something or the kids would ask for something so the small amount left in the bank would be withdrawn from the account and I would have a charge for paper or something from the atm which was just a few dollars and I would just pay it when I brought my check in and they would be fine with it. But a while back I was in the hospital when I got my check so I couldn't do much about the fee at that time and I was still in the hospital the next time and so I didn't get to pay the fee again and meven though it was only around 5$ my account got closed by an employee who I thought was new but either way that's their decision. But when I got out of the hospital I went to cash my check and they said my account was closed which surprised me and for a minute I was worrying how I was going to cash my check and Carol came to the drive through window and said if I pay the overdue overdue account fee and the check cashing fee I could cash my check and I couldn't open the account back up but could still cash my check there . Anld then... I was back in the hospital again recently and Carol let my daughter bring her i.d and mine after I sighned and let her cash my check . Like I said she's an angel and if I wouldn't of been able to get my check cashed I wouldn't of been able to see my kids at the hospital because the gas back n forth to Seattle is not cheap and then there's hotel because they couldn't drive there and turn around and drive back home just to get up and make the trip again and it would cost more that way too. Plus the ferry ends up being around 50$ for a round trip same day and plus my daughter had to stop near the ferry everytime and give money or food and drinks or sometimes cough drops and hand warmers to the homeless everytime. So without Carol letting her cash my check there would be alot of people let down and go without things that meant alot or could of mabye even meant everythimg to them.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. Nothing but disdain came from the male and the manager the second I walked in.
