- SSSandraSep 11, 20251.0I've been with the Columbia Bank on 9th Ave S. in Federal Way for around 10 years. Lately I've had SO MANY ISSUES with my online banking I went in for help sorting it out. But first, in July, I asked how much a Cashier's Check would cost and was told it was free as long as I was a member. And it was. Yesterday [9/10], I was told the fee was $10, adding it has NEVER been free! !?!? Trouble is I was $4 short and I DESPERATELY needed that Check. Already frustrated with my account, I started to bawl. The Agent, ice cold and indifferent, didn't offer me any tissues and I didn't dare ask for any. Next, I explained a FEW of the issues I was having with my account, mentioning an Agent on the phone had said she found a "glitch"---her word---although she didn't offer to have IT fix it. THIS Agent said there was NO glitch. !?!? Getting up to leave I calmly mentioned I was going to switch to Key Bank. "That's fine!" she said chirpily, making ZERO effort to change my mind. Instead, figuratively speaking, she handed me my hat and told me not to let the door hit me on my way out. I was surprised it didn't...
