- ARA RSep 26, 20251.0I have been a WSECU member for 25 years. 10 years ago they lost my business. I went into this branch to deposit a check. Upon seeing the value I was immediately interrogated by the teller as to why someone my age would have a check of that value. It was the life insurance check from my mother who had passed away. As it was 10 years ago, I cannot recall what I said but I brushed off her questions and tried to deposit it. After that the teller immediately tried to get me to meet with a financial advisor. No thanks. I decided to take my business to another credit union. I still do have my account as it has my first credit card. But maybe it's time to let that go as my credit score is high enough.
