  The bank itself is quiet, well kept, clean and properly layed out for a bank. I hear they help their community, and many like their banking services. I accompany my friend to this bank over many years. My 3 stars is for the casual, non-professional appearance. I am not speaking of behaviours or knowledge of the staff. The staff are dressed casually (even some have ratty shoes), as with their professional behaviour. All give off a vibe of neutrality, blandness. Today my friend is setting up her banking app to show the teller something. While the teller waits she is resting her chin on her hands. I helped my friend at the teller, no greeting, just receive a bland look. Over many years, only one person asked me if I had an appointment or needed help.

  manager was willing to try to help me out after being bounced around by the bellingham location and calling several locations 20 times in total. 3 stars because the employees clearly need help if they cant answer the phones after 9 calls. i am now on a first name basis with their call center after being transferred there so many times.

  Staff were extremely helpful when at the location. Unfortunately they were unable to effectively communicate regarding cut off dates and I no longer hold an account here.

  Several weeks ago I called the mortgage broker in Lynden. I left a message including my phone number, name and that I was interested in getting pre-approved for a loan. I never received a callback. Yesterday, I went into the Blaine branch and mentioned to a banker there what had happened. She then offered to call the Lynden branch for me and I declined. I simply wanted someone at the bank to know this had happened. That person then helped me at the teller window and apparently sent this invitation to review the bank. I don't have a problem with the Blaine branch. However, I will be looking to other banks for the mortgage I am shopping for.
