I have been a member of this bank since they were Sterling Savings and have not had any issues! until recently my husband noticed his credit was getting pulled from the Umpqua bank in Battle Ground, WA (we live 4 hrs. away) we called to see what was going on and they said they ran the wrong persons information (they had the same name as my husband which is a common name)!! REALLY how do you run someone's name and credit without more information? When my husband called to address the issue they wouldn't given him info. unless he answered security questions but yet they pulled his credit for someone else? Also, we looked back at our credit history and this happened once before in May same location, also I should mention they have deposited checks into are account that weren't ours!! We are business owners and pride as well as rely on our credit!! I can not believe that a BANK would not be more careful with someone's personal information.
