I would give them one quarter of one star if it was possible. They only had two and a half stars to begin with. Cannot take care of even basic banking. If you're looking for the same interaction, you'd get from a robotic versatieller, it's okay I suppose. But if you ever need anything besides rudimentary help, no one seems to know what they're doing the branch manager was so smarmy and dismissive that I had to get up and leave. The reason The employees don't know what they're doing is because the branch manager doesn't know what she's doing, but wants to pretend she does, even if it cost a legitimate customer. I've been a customer for more than twenty five years. 2 days, 6 phone calls and 3 hours of sitting in the cubicle. The guy had me sit in a cubicle for an hour and 40 minutes by myself. While his manager drove down from some other town unbeknownst to me. He told me he was going to make a quick phone call. Left me in the office and then sat in the back office. Waiting for the manager to show up and just left me sitting in the cubicle, wondering what was going on. For nothing. The manager that came down from Oak Harbor was the absolute worst with 0 communication skills. Zero personality skills, very smarmy, and rude. Said, I needed a certain number. Which does not exist. So her end statement, was it was my fault for not knowing about a number that doesn't exist and key banks wire transfer inner workings, which I have absolutely nothing to do with. After doing 30 seconds of research, it turns out She's wrong. I had to stand up and walk out after three minutes of her talking at me. So rude. And smarmy is the perfect descriptor. She didn't even introduce herself, say her name or her title. She just walked over and started talking at me, like I was dumb. Turns out, she's the one who doesn't know what she's talking about. The number she said, was my fault for not knowing...it does not exist. The bank in question does not use that number. Not really the sort of thing people are looking for when they're banking. Some of the tellers are nice, but I need banking done at the bank. Oh, we'll give them an F plus or maybe a D minus. Because I can physically go there and take money out of my account but anything other than that they get a zero out of ten. At this point in time, I would not recommend them to friends or family. Had very important banking to do I even gave them a whole extra day wiggle room to cover their screw-ups and not knowing what they're doing. They still couldn't figure it out. The same exact same banking to the exact same account that i've done fifty eight times before , literally. But no matter what I did or how much mistake room I gave them, they still screwed it up. Fail. Oh, the manager did offer to walk over and help me close all my accounts if I didn't like what she was saying. Then hit the door. I'm getting a call back from key bank headquarters official complaint department back east in about thirty minutes.I'll let you know how it turns out.

Terrible experience. We are building a home and occasionally have needed a document notarized. I travel during the week, so Saturdays are my only opportunity to get this done. In the past, although we don’t have an account, they were happy to assist, until today. We walked in, no one was behind the counter but we heard voices in the back. We writhed and then walked around the corner (to your left as you enter the bank) and were told that someone would be with us shortly. As the line built behind us they finally came out to help. We told the tall blond woman that we needed a notary. She asked if we were customers if the bank. We said no. She informed us that she could not help us. That service was only for people who had accounts with Key Bank. We shared that we had been there 4-5 times over the past year, as recently as s couple of weeks ago and they were happy to help. Nope, can’t help you. You might try the title company down the road she told us. Terrible customer service. Not a good way to endear the public and potential future customers, especially ones who don’t mind sharing our experiences on social media. Skagit Bank, two blocks away was delighted to help.

Very helpful and of special note is the apparent utter lack of judgement regarding the value of the customer's accounts. Nice and most appreciated!
