- BLBrett LangeJul 12, 20241.0I recently had a very unpleasant experience with Racheal Meloche. Her unprofessionalism and bullying tactics didn't sit well with me. I have been a customer of Banner Bank since they bought out Skagit Bank several years ago. This person needs to have training in customer relations all across the board. I have been to all the other branches of Banner in the county and the service is 100% quality and caring. Racheal failed miserably in my only interaction with her.

I think they're short-staffed and were inundated with home loans and stuff in the summer so it took extra long to get things done. But because it took so long, interest rates continued to rise. I wish they would've just said they were too busy instead of continually telling me to just wait a little longer for literal months. I should've known better and gone somewhere else sooner. Maybe corporate isn't paying employees enough to get more help. I don't know.

From the first time I walked in, they were wonderful to work with. Whether with a teller at the counter or in an office with a personal banker, the staff were polite, professional and very personable. If the branch wasn't 100 miles away, I'd move my personal account to this branch even though Banner Bank doesn't have the best interest rates.
