  If I could give this bank a zero star I would. Due to a lawsuit they had recently, they have made it impossible for my girlfriend to use her sign on bonus that she deposited locally at the bank. Red flag after red flag accord to their fraud department. We moved here from AZ a little over a month ago and we needed a local bank because Wells Fargo is not in VT so we signed up here. They told her the check was going to be a 6 days hold due to the size but 6 days has turned into 4 weeks. Then they suspended transfers to other banks. We could not Zelle it and this is money that we need to use for bills. We ordered a debit card and they cancelled that too. They showed her how to add a debit card to Apple wallet when we went in but it got cancelled so it’s not usable. Do your research before signing up here. It’s getting to the point where we might have to contact a lawyer. This is the most a bank has ever asked for. They asked for a separate bank statement, proof of residence, proof of employment, they needed a letter from her work stating she got a sign on bonus and still, the money is not accessible. I’m not one to write reviews, but this is beyond ridiculous. Do not, and I mean DO NOT sign up here if you’re moving to VT from another state. This seems like non-local discrimination

  This is the 2nd time I have got a counterfeit 100. Bill from td bank in rutland at merchants row. You need to check your money. 2nd time I bring cash to another bank and they find a counterfeit 100. Bill. All my money come from my direct deposit to td bank. Dont trust the pen. Hold it up to light. Right side has no face showing like a shadow on counterfeit. That's the only difference. People. Check you money if it comes from td bank before you leave the bank.

  I love the Rutland TD bank folks. I've had fantastic service, despite being a pain in the butt customer, always doing international wire transfers which take time and effort. Every single person I've worked with there has been great, affable, and willing to help. It's clean. It has it's own free parking lot. What's not to like? I do my personal and business banking there, despite it being a 45 minute drive. I recommend all my friends who move to town to sign up there. They have also had great experiences.

  You can never ever get hold of them by phone. They want you to leave a message. RIDICULOUS!!!
