At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
I previously owned a business and for over 3 years I had a checking account with Truist and also used their payroll services. During that time, I experienced major overcharges and service fees on my account, and was given the run around when I tried to resolve my issues.
I am now filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and other regulatory and consumer rights organizations for Overcharges from Deceptive Practices and Hidden Fees.
You should avoid using this bank at all costs! The tellers at the local branch are nice enough but they can’t help you with any problems on your account, so they will send you to their customer service department which is terrible!

Kind, patient and knowledgeable are great adjectives for the folks in this branch. I saw all of those things in one visit. I'm glad that they are there helping the community every day.

Most stupid bank ever. Just because of proximity to my residence Opened new account. Deposited couple check and my account had frozen because of fraud protection.
Have entire account frozen and check frozen because there is some red flags. Talking with customer support/fraud protection it could take up to 120 days to resolve this. Talked with my clients and every one already had money withdrawn from their account. So where is the Money and how can I get it?
Truist - This is 2024, all other banks that I deal with can resolve any issue within 7-10 days.
Dear Truist I wish you future of Washington Mutual Bank
