4 employees standing and chatting while no other customers in the bank, no appointments to attend but still not ready to open an account because it may take upto an hour to open an account! I had 20 minutes for them but unfortunately they didn’t open it and asked to come again on another day. Funny part, they scheduled me for 4 pm Tuesday! Does it make any sense?

This is the worst branch of any financial institution I have ever encountered. In order to open a CD, you apparently have to “apply” to qualify for a higher paying account, even when using existing funds on deposit. You can’t make this stuff up. Part of the application process involves being asked questions about accounts established at other financial institutions, which is none of their business. The rate you receive is apparently dependent on how you answer their questions, which seems totally unethical to me. Try to escalate any concerns to the Branch Manager, and good luck receiving a response. No thank you.

Went to this BB&T first time ever to cash a title max check when i pulled up the lady was already rude she kept the check for over 5 minutes just looking at me through the window then came back and said we can’t verify who this came from and title max doesn’t open for another hour . I’ve cashed a check at another BB&T before a couple times with no issues ever ! this inconvenienced next and also made me feel discriminated honestly. Walmart doesn’t even call to verify . I wish i would’ve gotten her name !

Chrystal & Teresa and the rest of the staff have taken care of my parents banking for years. They always looked forward to going to the bank. As my parents aged, Theresa or Chrystal helped set up accounts with a daughter in a joint account. In their 90’s, my parents were no longer able to care for their finances. BB&T made the transition easy. Then when my father died this year, they were so helpful as we had to deal with Trust accounts, SS account, safe deposit boxes and credit cards. Everyone has been kind and patient in every circumstance. They are friends as well as advisors. Negative reviews over one phone call is ridiculous. It’s your loss to avoid this bank.
