I explained that I had just submitted an application for an personal account, the bank manager on shift 06/22/2022 explained to me that she wouldn't open my account if I only wanted it to get a cashiers check , and I explained to her that I could in fact use the account on a regular basis. She switched the narrative then informing me that she doesn't has time to open my account or go over the online submitted application. She also asked me repeatedly who I banked with and personal questions such as why I don't have an account, all the while giving side eyes to her co workers. I've never been one to play the race card but this bank is extremely unfair towards people of color. I should have kept my cool but the other bank clerk told me to calm down as I stormed out the door. I would never go back to Atlantic union bank ever again after this horrible experience. They lost me for a good customer.
