Truist is the worst! As a new member I am not satisfied at all. My job paid me with a paper check because for some reason my direct deposit has not kicked in yet. I go to Truist to deposit most of my check but get some in cash to hold me over until my check clears because it was late Friday when I went to the bank. I get there after work and am told I can’t get cash, I have to deposit the whole thing. Now when I first opened the account they let me get cash with my 1st check I deposited because they knew it would be awhile before I got my card. But this time they wouldn’t allow me to. I was then told if I deposited my check it would clear Saturday. Next thing you know the teller tells me well it’s not working in your favor. They are putting a 7 business day hold on my check because it’s a new account. I need to find another bank ASAP if this is how Truist treats their new members. Already waited 2 weeks to get the check, now have to wait until I’m ready to get paid again to have access to my own money. I have bills to pay. 😡

The employees of Truist Bank on Bridge Rd. are not knowledgeable nor friendly. My husband needed a copy of payoff for his vehicle that he had a loan from there. First they had the wrong address. We moved to our house 6 years ago. My husband got a loan from them 3 years ago. The woman proceeded to tell him that he needed to let them know that our address changed. He said I got the loan here. Shouldn’t that be in your system. Besides that we get mail from truist every month for the past 3 years. He said I have the address on my drivers license. She said sir most people don’t change their address at DMV. I sure miss the friendly women who used to work there

They cant figure out how to do a simple withdrawal. I sat in the drive thru line and then had to come in and it took 25 minutes or so. Unreal. They don't even have pens out I could use to sign anything. This bank is the worst experience I've had at a branch. Sad 1 star facility.

Patricia helped my partner and I open a joint bank account. She was very helpful, and gave great service. Plus, we did not have to wait in line at all, even though it was 4pm on a Friday afternoon.

Worse bank ever. First they take unauthorized money from our account, when talking to customer service they reply that hire ups made that decision and there is nothing they can help with. Then later ATM didn’t withdraw cash I was trying to get and did Not provide with receipts or my money. Customer service hang up on you bcz it’s Sunday Employees at bank just give you another phone number and say there is nothing they can do bcz it’s ATM . It’s your bank ATM how the heck you don’t have information to your bank equipment? Anyway If you ever consider this bank don’t! They charge you fees for anything $12 fee a month says there will be no overdraft fees but then still charge you overdraft fee instead of declining payment.
