Please do not open an account here. I'm a small yoga business and since I've opened my account they've been charging monthly service charges. Each month I visit the branch and they are not able to figure out and say it's a back end problem and they will speak to customer care. I've sent numerous emails to Ilham and recently i was assured multiple times that the branch manager will call me but never heard anything. Fast forward its 6 months and on the phone with customer service and they told me that this is a branch problem that the branch has to fix. I'm waiting to fix this issue close my account and move to a better bank. Heard terrible experience from other people but this was the closest to me so I decided to go with the bank. Decided to warn others about their incompetence too!! Stay away if you don't want to lose your money to random charges.

Angel Rivera knows what he does! He was really helpful and quick with my transition. If you come here see him. I went to the location in leesburg they kicked me out but here Mr. Rivera took care of me really professionally.

The merger of Sun Trust into BB&T is shockingly not functional. These days it's almost impossible to find a branch at which a Sun Trust customer can make an ATM deposit after hours. The awkwardness of staff when a Sun Trust client enters a BB&T branch to do business as they have been told they can do is sad if not irritating. From my observation, good old Sun Trust is being consumed by a distracted BB&T monster called Truist, which is ironic because the new name is obviously based on "trust," and that's one thing I've lost when it comes to this combination.
