Lets set the record straight, it is not the people, the people there are okay, however the manager Brian and one of the girls there have terrible customer service skills. My issue was unauthorized withdraws in the total amount less than $50 which added up to $300 of fees from the bank due to NFS charges. $36 per every transaction that even tries to come out, even if the bank does not end up spending any of their own money. Again, I can understand if it did it once and then maybe sent an alert on my phone so I know that something funny is going on, but $300 in charges and then I hear from them when its about to go to collections? Really? I went in to try to talk to someone and see whats going on and ask them to waive it, I was even willing to pay a part of it just to keep my record clean. I got nothing, but the same story "This is the policy" &"You can dispute it" so I called the place where charges where coming from and got the dispute letter and came back. I got "Well we can only cover 3 of these charges" . Customer service and basic human understanding out the window. Just high way robbery left and right. 1. Never going back to this bank 2. Never going back to this branch 3. StellarOne was a better bank and should have never combined with Union Now I'm going to make sure that not only I, but my family and my friends leave this institution and my family members has business accounts.
