- KWKen WaybrightJun 17, 20253.0I just moved from another financial institution to Atlantic Union Bank. Everything was fine for the first 4 days. I was able to move my funds from my old bank to Atlantic Union, setup ACHs and Bill Pays. All of this was done on Mon and Tue. On Fri around 4:55 PM, I received a call from the fraud dept stating I need to verify I was the owner of the previous bank account, and my funds were frozen until I did. He said I would need to go to my previous bank and have them send verification to them stating I was the owner of that account. No where in my account setup did it say this would happen. I went to the drive-thru at my old bank and ask them to do this. They had no idea what I was talking about. So I called Atlantic Union back and the lady said all needed to do was upload a statement from the old bank through there secure messaging system. I was furious that this had to be done, but I did it. I followed up on Monday eve, and had no luck reaching anyone that could or would help me with this issue. It's now Tue, 8 days after I opened the account and transferred the funds, and I still don't have access to them. They are there, but not available. I was going to move my business account to Atlantic, but I will NOT being doing that. THIS WAS RESOLVED ABOUT 30 MIN AFTER POSTING THE REVIEW. Changed from 1 star to 3, because the action from AUB still caused issues.
