- RSRodrigo SotolaniJul 3, 20251.0I do not recommend to any of my friends or family members to open an account on Wells Fargo. I had a bad experience. They were offering a bonus of $300 to open account, then I presented my documents and opened the account - and the personal didn't warned me that I wasn't eligible to receive that bonus. I just opened the account for the bonus incentive. I waited 6 months to discover that. If I know that I would not receive it, I were never opened an account in a bank that requires you ONE WHOLE year to offer a credit card. A bank that its mobile app doesn't work and is not available at another app store besides de american one. A bank that always let me waiting in the appointments, at least 15 minutes E-V-E-R-Y T-I-M-E. A bank that has so small numbers of ATM in Richmond, VA, and one of them, in the VCU Commons, is broken at least for 4 months whitout any sign of fixing it. Well, I am glad to close my account in this Mcdonalds-color-themed bank.
