Worst decision of the past two years of my life was to try out the bank one block away from my new shop. These crooks are the new Wells Fargo. The manager came to my business and sold me 4 accounts and setup my accounts online. One of the accounts he did a 12,000 balance transfer but never added the account to my screen and then got my mailing address wrong. My credit is RUINED now because I was 2 months late on an account I didn’t even know existed… and we are talking about a $200 per month payment - less then I spend when going out to eat!!! He even admitted the address was wrong and his superiors wouldn’t do a thing but write a letter. And get this- they eliminated my 0% because I was late due to their error. If you are seeing this and have a similar story please reach out. Their behavior seems RIPE for class action

The representative at this location told me she couldn’t help me and to call the number on the back of the card. I said I didn’t have a card because the money was in CDs. BTW, branches deal with CDs. So I went home and looked up Truist customer service and called. Customer service said that they couldn’t help and that I had to go to a branch because the branch handles CDs. I explained that I just returned from this branch and the branch couldn’t help me and to call. I did everything that I needed to do as far as paperwork and I should be approved and be able to get the documents without an issue. Well…she still can’t help me even though I’ve done what I need to do. Someone is supposed to call me back… I explained that I wouldn’t bank with Truist because of the run-around I am getting in spite of me doing what I need to do—months ago. I am dealing with seven different banks in my role as executor and I’ve never been treated with such disregard. The gaslighting was upsetting as well— (“I submitted my documents along with Certificate of Appointment on xx/xx/xxxx in the presence of my brother at y location” “No you didn’t.” “I did because I handed all of my requested documents to the branch manager and representative. They said that legal had to review the documents and they would call when it was reviewed and cleared. My brother received a call.” “I don’t know what you want—If your lawyers need the statements, then they can call.” “No, the lawyers shouldn’t need to call because I’ve submitted all paperwork to add me as executor on the account. I’ve been asked to by my lawyer to do so and they say that I should be able to this by myself without their intervention.” I don’t get why this branch treats patrons from a place of “No.” It’s not like I’m doing this for fun.

Opened a checking account online but I wasn’t able to deposit a printed check (none of my other banks would do remote deposit either). So I went to this branch, I was expecting a tough experience because the last time I went to a Truist I went broad street and they were curt with me even though they resolved my issue. This time at Patterson I was acknowledged, while I was in line, and was informed by a teller, even though it seemed like he was open that it would be a minute as he was finishing something and the other teller was occupied with a customer. Let me just pause to say that this already exceeds 99% of any customer service anywhere. Normally employees will ignore you even if they are busy until they are ready to help you. The simple act of acknowledging your presence and that you’re a human standing in their establishment, makes the experience a million times better. After less than the full minute he asked me to wait for I was assisted. The associate/teller was pleasant, helpful, and most importantly, resolved everything very quickly for me. Thank you Truist. Your other locations could learn some from this branch. And whenever I need to go into a branch, I know which one I’ll be going to in the future.

This location is so out of date, the atm doesnt accept cash. The manager of this branch was only interested with pre approved offers and not interested at all on what was going on with my bank account. It was an error that they made and she couldnt fix it.
