Wish I could give zero stars. Truly the slowest, worst branch I have ever been to. I moved all of my money to a different bank specifically because of how slow and incompetent THIS branch is…that’s how bad.

Poor customer service. Teller does not want to seem to help with a deposit telling me I can use my app or the ATM machine. I already know this. No one was in the bank. I only physically enter the bank twice a year.. If you ask for CD rates they will tell you someone will call you. If you call the 800 number they tell you the local branch should know. Associate Linda says the tellers may have been new or busy. Neither was true. Linda also seemed to dismiss my concerns when I went to the bank the last time and seemed to be pushing me out. Wrote the 800 number on a scrap of paper if I need more help, but asked for a 10 out of 10 if anyone asked me to rate her. She recommend I update my accounts to “newer products” and told me nothing would change, but I lost getting my paper statements. Will now be 4 dollars per year. 6 months later… The tellers at the Purcellville location here are unhelpful, lazy, and rude. I brought in a check to deposit and the man tells me, "you know, you can do this at the machine.' I told him I knew that but I brought it to him because the machine in the lobby never works for me. He was not busy and there were no customer. On another day I tried to access money from the drive-through ATM but that did not work either. The lobby ATM again did not work so I told the teller my problem. She gave me my money but did not address the card not working. So I asked her about the functionality of the ATM card and machine ? She told me it looks good. I told her that was not going to help me if I needed money when the bank was closed and it doesn't work again. She then gave me a temporary replacement card, also with little explanation as to what to expect. I had to ask if my PIN would remain the same. I had to cancel an appointment because of the extra time required to wait in line. Recently the safety deposit box price went up in price more than 100% so I canceled that. I did find out today that the paper statements that I had to pay for are now being giving for free again. Instead of helping me in the bank I was again giving the customer service number to call to change my mailing options (as though I don’t already have the customer service number) I have been slowly moving money out of this bank but it's difficult when so many bills are attached to the accounts there.

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I failed at the self service ATM today for a deposit so I went inside. Abe assisted me with no judgement about the ATM! I appreciate it. Thanks for the pleasant banking experience. Nice atmosphere, other Truist employees were friendly and also greeted me. New to the area so happy to have a nice bank to go to.
