At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
We use this bank only for it's convenience (Palmyra primarily, but also offices in Charlottesville). The staff is usually pleasant but the policies are questionable. We were told we could just call to keep a high promo interest rate on our MM account, this turned out to be false (Mary G told us this and she still works for them). Patrice did her best and bumped our rate up a tiny bit but they won't even tell you what the best rate is, it all depends on secret factors they won't tell you and for new customers only. Most other banks clearly display their interest rates and how to get them. Also the app is not that great. They are not bad enough for me go to the trouble to leave them but if a better option was just as convenient I would strongly consider it. It is nice having a local bank you can walk into, so for that I give them good marks.

I am currently on hold with Truist bank main customer Service number for 1 hour and 10 minutes just trying to find out why Zelle is not working on my account. OVER A HOUR WITH CONSTANT REMINDERS OF HOW IMPORTANT MY CALL IS! Puting me on hold for over an hour with no info on WHEN I can get an answer is the perfect way to tell me how much you could not care less about customers. I MISS SUN TRUST! UPDATE: I GAVE UP TRYING AFTER 1 HOUR 40 MINUTES WAITING ON HOLD. NO HELP FROM TRUIST

Unbelievable. I was unhappy before about this branch, but now...geeze! Called to see if the lobby was open today (because it was closed Friday for "conditions outside their control" according to a sign on the door.
They said it was open. So I get there, find that sign on the door again and a line that isn't moving AT ALL. 10 minutes and no movement.
And, I've been on hold with online support for 104 minutes while this is all going on! WTH is going on?!
