  I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at the Wells Fargo branch located at 440 Monticello Ave, Norfolk, VA 23510. On 5/18/2023, I attempted to deposit a sum of money into an ATM located outside of the branch. The ATM jammed and my money was not deposited. I received an email from Wells Fargo stating that they were aware of the issue and would investigate. The email also stated that it could take up to 10 days to resolve the issue. I walked into the branch on 5/23/2023 to inquire about the status of the issue. I was greeted by a teller who did not ask for my name or account number. She simply gave me a generic response stating that the issue was still being investigated and that I would be contacted when there was an update. I am a loyal customer of Wells Fargo. I have been with the bank since I was a teenager and I am now in my mid-30s. I am disappointed that I was treated with such indifference by the teller at the branch. I feel that my issue should have been taken more seriously and that I should have been given more information about the status of the investigation. I am considering closing my accounts with Wells Fargo and moving my business to a different bank. I believe that I deserve to be treated with respect and that my concerns should be taken seriously. I hope that Wells Fargo will take my feedback into consideration and make changes to improve the customer service experience at their branches.

  I was very surprised at the poor customer service at this particular branch. I felt like I was intruding on the teller and she had no investment in my experience whatever. On the other hand, the branch on Military Hwy is all about a positive customer experience. I go out of my way to avoid Monticello.
