  I applied for an auto loan with this bank. The loan was never approved, which is fine. What’s not fine is how it was handled. The bank canceled the application without notifying me. No call, no email, no status update. I only found out after following up myself. After that, they had the nerve to ask to pull my credit report again, despite the fact that the application had already been canceled on their end. Auto loans are time-sensitive, and people rely on clear communication to make real financial decisions. Canceling an application without notice and then requesting another credit pull shows poor internal coordination and disregard for the customer’s credit. I would not recommend this bank if you value transparency, communication, or protecting your credit score.

  Monique Ting is awesome! She is the epitome of excellent customer service. I went in to close a business account and open a regular checking and saving. She efficiently moved my money and joined my accounts without error or delay. She even followed up by e-mail as she said she would days later! I wish all bankers were this seamless.

  Ciara at the Newport News city center (Jefferson) location was amazing. She helped me switch over from a different bank to Langley. She was very kind and knowledgeable. I learned different ways to save money with different options in my checking and saving accounts. She went above and beyond to help me! Evone was also amazing. She helped me as a bank teller. Extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and helped my girlfriend save money with a new checking account we didn’t know had dividends once a month. These two girls deserve this recognition!!

  Natasha Harrell Is top tier! I recently went in to get something notorized and she immediately recognized me as a customer she’d serviced at the window many times. She greeted me with the biggest smile, professionalism and level of patience she’d always displayed at the window. It was such a pleasure meeting her “in person”…Besides being kind, I was in and out in no time, absolutely excellent customer service.

  This is the absolute worst banking facility. My husband has an account with them and this is the second time they have screwed up transfers from Langley to my banking institution. How is it that we request money to be withdrawn and deposited to my account only to turn around and withdraw the money from my bank and deposit in his account. Resulting in overdraft fees and now money that is going to take 5 to 10 days to get back. What kind of banking institution is this?
