    Customer service, or lack thereof goes a long ways. I am not a Wells Fargo customer, and recently had a 3 year old who desperately needed a restroom. I hurried into the lobby where I was told they did not have anything we could use without much compassion for a parent in a bind. This impression will stick with me for a long time, and will certainly weigh into my decision to remain a non Wells Fargo customer.

    I needed a simple letter from the bank manager indicated my business checking account number, routing number and tax-ID that I could submit to Medicare. She was on the phone and unavailable so an extremely courteous representative attempted to help me. However, he did not know what to do. Within minute, the bank manager was off of the phone and told the representative to complete a form which did not include the information I needed. The bank was not busy and the manager just wandered around. She never came to check and see if my needs were being met or if the representative needed help. The form was not correct for the purposes of Medicare. I have been a customer through the various iterations of Wells Fargo since the 1970's. I have personal, joint and business checking accounts with them; ,mortgage; credit card; savings account; and a very large sum of money managed by their financial planner. However, that is irrelevant. What the bank manager did should not happen to any customer--it is extremely poor service. Luckily, I was able to call my Wells Fargo financial advisor this morning and I had the letter in hand this afternoon. This bank manager needs some serious remediation is customer service. Others won't be so lucky to have an inside contact who is there to provide service.

    Great bank! I have a few different banks due to business accounts and Wells Fargo has been a great banking partner, specifically at the Westchester Commons location.
