  I will never do business with this organization again. I brought my banking to Blue ridge in 2024 and had a conversation with the proprietor during the opening of the accounts. I had asked that provided they could handle my regular banking without any nonsense that I would be bringing the entirety of my organization to do its banking with Blue ridge Bank In no particular order my experiences: > They could not handle a wire transfer > They failed to respond on an inquiry about a refinance on the house > They changed the rules on a bank money market account contract without notifying me and began taking $10 a month from my savings and my money market because I no longer met the minimum we had agreed to when we opened the accounts. > They refused to let me close the savings account because it was "inactive" but were somehow able to charge me $10 a month for the savings account while it was inactive, because it was inactive, even though it was generating interest. These people are thieves. Do yourself a favor take all of your money out of this bank and find a different bank. The predatory practices from this organization would not be allowed if the current administration had properly funded the FDIC.

  BEWARE. I recently created an account with Stessa Property Management software to allow collection of rent online from tenants. Stessa's set up process in no indicated a bank account would be created, but I was sent an email that indicates a bank account was created in my name with Blue Ridge. Upon contacting Blue Ridge regarding this unauthorized account I was told that they couldn't even verify if the bank account number that I was given is for an account at their bank and that all inquiries would have to go through Stessa - which they have partnered with. Blue Ridge was not able to confirm nor disprove that an unauthorized account was created in my name with their bank. BEWARE.

  Have had numerous issues over the last 8 years of banking with Blue Ridge. Please don’t take their word on bank polices as they do not honor their word, but get them in print— wish I had done that. That’s why I’m refinancing my mortgage through another bank.This morning was the last straw! I had to get a manager approval to deposit a check that I have deposited monthly for the last 8 years. My husband and my name was on the check, but because I am the only one with a checking account I needed to have the manager approve the check and waited 10 minutes for that. I was only depositing and making a truck payment that is only in my husband’s name. The head teller said she could be fired if she didn’t get the approval—- she’s been doing it for the last 8 years. I will be closing all accounts and also transferring my car loan.
