- KGKen GordonAug 8, 20255.0I walked in at literally one minute 'til close. The manager welcomed me with a big smile. I asked the teller for 6 blank checking deposit slips that I planned to take home and fill out. She asked me if I wanted to make a deposit, and seemed happy to wait while I filled out the slips. Let me say that again. She thought I wanted to painstakingly fill out 6 deposit slips at 1 minute before closing, and was downright cheerful about wanting to help me. I thanked her, but said I was only here to grab the slips (the checks were at home). Pretty unusual for a bank to be that happy about a potentially complicated transaction at 1 minute 'til close. Most places would just give you the skunk eye. Thanks very much gang!
