I opened this account after being convinced by the bank that it would be easy to use, with no hidden fees. They even encouraged me to send money through Zelle and keep the account active. But right after using Zelle, I was hit with a $12 maintenance fee — without any notice — which pushed my account into the negative. This happened even though I was planning to close the account and had almost no balance left. There was zero communication, no warning, and no grace. It feels like they I’ll be closing this account for good.

This bank is fraud. I put my money on their money market with the rate of 4.4%. Then, they change the rate to 0.01% after couple of months. When I ask the manager, she said that the rate is fluctuate. my wife also has the money market account there and it never happens. I also have another account with Capital one and they never do this to customer. It is such a bad practice to use customer money to make money and give nothing back. I am going to close all the accounts from them.
