This branch needs new management and supervision immediately (if someone cares of course). I walk in at 11:40 on a Saturday to talk to a banker and the lady in a rush to leave because they are closing at 12 o’clock !! She doesn’t even wait until I finish asking my question, cuts me off and push me to see the teller instead! Not only that, she is literally talking to me while checking her peeping texts notifications on her cell phone right in front of her on the desk!! She insists that my account is not eligible for wire transfers because it’s not a business account and when I try to tell her I called customer service and they said yes I can she tells me she knows better. (It turns out she was just trying to brush me off because she is rushing to leave and I actually was able to enroll in online wire transfer and sent a wire successfully). I joined the line for the teller to help me and my intention to ask for the branch manager to file a complaint and once I got to the teller I see a guy who looks like in charge also using his cell phone and texting on the counter!!! I asked him if he is the branch manager and he confirmed. I just laughed sadly of how horrible this place is and I should definitely move my business somewhere else. I requested their business cards and info and will report it. The banker, actually Senior banker!! named Amina Ansary and the branch manager named Henry Diaz. The teller who helped me her name is Nikki was a delightful nice decent lady meets you with a smile and ready to help even if it’s past 12 o’clock.

After several attempts to get answers about my account by using the main customer service line (I never succeeded in getting a living breathing person, or any really good answers that were helpful via the automated system) I just paid a visit in person to the branch on heathcote boulevard in Gainesville At other banks, there is someone right there in the lobby to greet people and assign them to non- teller personnel. In this case I had to approach a teller who said to sit down in the waiting area and someone would be right with me. 5 minutes later and after watching the two people in offices completely ignore me, I went back up to the teller and repeated my request. The person that ultimately helped me walked right by me in the waiting area without any greeting, went into her office, and proceeded to do something else on her computer for a few minutes. The other guy never even looked in my direction When she finally called me in, she acted like I was totally bothering her with my requests. After a few minutes of that I finally remarked that she seemed very put upon. She deflected it right back on me and did not apologize, but at least then we had an understanding and proceeded amicably. It should not take a visit to the branch to get questions answered. And if I take my time to go to the branch I ought to be treated politely and quickly!

Great experience with the bank when I’m there in person. However, they don’t return phone calls when you leave messages. Not helpful when you’re busy and don’t have time to go there to get an answer from a manager.

    Always been a good bank!
