I would not recommend using this bank and if you do and have an issue talk to Carter. She is the only person at the branch who is willing to try to help people. I can't even get a call back from the branch manager. If corporate reads this, you should get rid of the branch manager Matt and promote Carter. Everyone there besides Carter just tries to pass the buck to someone else including the branch manager. I have left 2 messages with the branch manager and he won't call me back. Everyone I have spoken with has refused to give me the phone number for corporate. I have filed a complaint with the BBB.

I hate to be tough on a place for a single offense but I’ve experienced many of the issues people have complained about. They can be incredibly slow. Charging a fee to cash a check written on their bank is downright theft and I would love to hear them defend it. My latest issue is that I use pennies to help kids get interested in coin collecting. When I recently asked to buy a box of pennies I was told that they didn’t have many and needed to save them for their commercial customers. I was a business consultant for many years and I can attest that telling me that their commercial customers are more important than I am is a bad practice.

SunTrust is awful since they merged with BB&T.
