- DBDavid BeasleySep 9, 20211.0In one bank or another, I have been banking with BB&T/Truist since 1967. First, as Workmen's Federal. Since this merger, our banking customer service experience has been criminal. Today, was their crowning achievement. I must believe that the bank and it's Visa credit card department were intently making our day miserable and fretful. Things today could not have been by chance, they had to be on purpose. If you desire for a miserable day, I recommend BB&T/Truist. They will not let you down
- RQRobert QuillenNov 27, 20181.0I called this place to close out an account with additional charges on it that I already closed out. First $3.00, which I paid, then 89 cents. The lady I spoke with, Dana, would not work with me or suggest alternatives, and INSISTED I would have to come into the branch over EIGHTY NINE CENTS. I hung up and called the main BB&T phone number, and they were happy to help clear this up. Ten minutes was all it took. This branch did not even suggest calling the main number. I'm aware coming in is procedure, but to not even suggest calling the main number, to insist I have to come into the branch over EIGHTY NINE cents, I consider this absolutely terrible customer service.
