At Truist, our purpose is to inspire and build better lives and communities. That happens through real care to make things better. To meet client needs, to empower teammates, and to lift up communities.
Needed to have assistance with a letter concerning confirming our account ownership. Brooke answered after a couple of rings and was courteous and professional in explaining the purpose of the letter and confirming our information. She was a great representative for Truist and though it is not the closest branch to my residence I will travel to the George St Branch to conduct in person banking.

The ladies at this office Were wonderful as soon as you walk through the door, they greeted you with a smile, had Wonderful and positive attitudes. They went the extra mile to make sure your transaction was stress-free And smooth. They need to go to the branch on plank Road to teach them how to Be more like them!! I highly recommend going to the Fredericksburg downtown branch over the one on plank Road going a few more miles was well worth the drive.

Friendly people but dishonest bank. Given false promotional offer to open new account, which was completed in time, and verified that it was complete by two different agents. The time promised to receive bonus passed, as did many other weeks. Then the story changes and the requirements were now not met. Friendly but dishonest. Will leave.

Avoid. Customer service is horrible at multiple branches. Minorities for the most part are not offered any free checkings account. Been with this bank for years and was always obligated to pay. Lending is horrible! Agents aren’t informed and do not hold each other accountable for mistakes on their end. Has had better banking with pnc and they aren’t much better. Stick to credit unions. May be less accessible at times regarding physical locations but definitely worth it overall.
