Unpleasant experience so far with Truist. They canceled my brand new account without notifying me and still have not returned the initial money I used to open the account almost a year later... Would not recommend.

I’ve been a customer at Truist for a while, but today was the final straw. Out of nowhere, I received a call from someone at the bank asking invasive and personal questions about a recent deposit and who I sent money to via Zelle. No explanation, no respect for my privacy—just straight interrogation like I was doing something wrong. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I’ve never experienced this level of disrespect from a bank. I’m closing my account today and taking my business elsewhere. I had to call back and ask what locations they worked at.
