- SSSarah Stoltman-MillerAug 2, 20231.0I have been a member with Wells fargo for years. Yesterday I went through the drive thru atm and inserted my card. The machine did not acknowledge anything and I could not get my card back. After a few minutes of trying different buttons, I pulled around and walked inside. Trying to lock eyes with someone inside to get them to see how worried I was, I gave up and stood in line. Once I got to the front I greeted the woman and said what happened. Her response "We are not responsible for the machines. That is a separate company. You can go on your app and order another card." I said "So my card is just gone?" She said yes. Being in customer service and patient care for 15 years, this was pretty sad. I could not imagine having this be my only card, or being elderly and not knowing how to go on an app. There was no compassion whatsoever and what I got out of that was this is my problem, not theirs. I will not be visiting that branch again.

What happened to simple sign-in sheets, especially for those that don't have their phones on them or seniors that may not be tech savvy.... Got in line while waiting and watching 1 teller close her station and start counting money while the line went from 3 customers to 11; what happened to people first then your bank duties?
