  Unlike many financial advisors, Don is a true fiduciary. He is a Certified Financial Planner as well, a qualification that allows him to do much more than manage your 401k/IRA. Don will look at your financial picture and goals and help you develop the plan that actually works best for YOU and your family instead of selling you stocks that give the highest return for the management company. Everyone needs a financial advisor. Choose one like Don that is a true ally.

  I had the opportunity to meet with Don and discuss his approach to financial planning. I was immediately struck by how many similarities there were between Don's approach to financial planning and how we run our medical practice. First, Don and his team use a shared decision-making model in which he provides information, discusses the pros and cons of different approaches, answers questions, and encourages you to make the decision that's best for you and your family, but does not push you towards any particular investment or product. This is a much more effective approach than what many other financial planners do when they try to sell people on certain products and services because they personally benefit from that sale. Second, Don is not going to tell you what you can and can't spend money on - he establishes a long-term plan and provides guidance on how to best meet your financial goals. Lastly, any time you have a question or issue, you talk directly to Don. He provides the personalized service characteristic of a local community business with the resources and expertise of a major national financial services firm like Edward Jones. And what many people don't realize is that Don can go beyond traditional financial planning to also provide creative options for both personal and business insurance to address the unique needs of the individuals he is advising. I strongly recommend talking to Don if you are considering working with a financial planner.
