My husband and I went to close our account and the person helping us stated we could get a cashiers check but then refused to print it. We had to wait 20 minutes at the teller line to get our money. We also had a maintence fee that was supposed to be taken off. When I told the woman to refund the fee she said "oops I already closed the account, sorry." Even though I reminded her twice about this prior to closing the account. The customer service is horrendous and this bank is a joke. Do NOT do business with them. I've also had this experience at other branches, not just the Brookneal one.
