I came to this bank after another local location told me that they were unable to cash my Official Check.
Before going to either bank I’d done my research so I knew this was not true. I’d hate to think it was because I am African American that I was refused service. The check was a Truist check.
I was upset but very hopeful that the Shirlington location would be more knowledgeable and helpful. I was relieved and pleased when I entered the location and Jessica handles my case with class and grace. While adhering to all policies, and seeking out clarity from other more seasoned coworkers, she delivered world class customer service and turned my view of Truist bank into a positive one. Grateful!

Absolute worst bank ever. I closed an account more than a year ago and they keep showing it on their bank but I can't access it on the website. I have gone into the bank and shown them the website and they can see it isn't anywhere on the website yet they refused to fix the problem. They have no manager present and the assistant managers are not there all the time. Unfortunately, I set up a CD and again it doesn't show anywhere on the website but they show it is listed though I can't see it. Their customer service while nice is incompetent and the manager takes days to return my calls. This bank has gone rapidly downhill and I am moving my funds to another bank.

A great banking branch with friendly employees who are always ready to help with whatever you need. The place is usually empty with no wait for teller assistance.

Terrible customer service that required multiple visits because they kept forgetting to have us sign documents. Unorganized which is concerning since they are a bank! No concern for establishing a relationship with their customers, you are just one of many.
