I was next in line and, after waiting for a few minutes, one of the tellers abruptly asked, "What are you here for?" without even a basic greeting. I explained that I needed to deposit a cashier's check, only for her to inform me that the system was down. A simple, more courteous approach would have made a big difference. A polite greeting like, "How may I help you today?" followed by a heads-up about the system issue—perhaps something like, "Just to let you know, our system is currently down, and we're not sure how long it will take to resolve"—would have made the situation much more professional and considerate. It’s the little things that make a big impact, and I hope the branch can work on improving customer interactions in the future.
