Must have job protection because no way a major bank would endorse incompetence and invite liability on top of bad PR. When you don’t want to do your job “for whatever reason”….just make up policy and hope your customers are not sophisticated enough to know what do about it. I’m doing something about it with the regulators.

Let’s start with the staff: unprofessional, inattentive, and shockingly indifferent to customers. Walk in and expect to be ignored while they chat behind the counter or take their sweet time doing absolutely nothing. I’ve stood there waiting to be acknowledged while employees pretended not to see me. When someone finally does help, it feels like you're inconveniencing them.
- ALAngelia LongDec 22, 20235.0Read some bad reviews from some time ago here, and can sort of empathise with them as last yr, my husband walked in trying to open an a/c but was faced with someone who did not seem interested, and gave him wrong information. Anyway, not to be upset, my husband just thanked him and left taking his business else where. Today, however, I tried again as I live around this area and really would like a bank close by. So I am very glad that my experience with both Ms Jenny Lopez and Mr. Shriram Vacan has been so pleasant and personable; I guess this location has really improved :)) Perhaps its because I came on a weekday, but i see only happy customers with helpful staffs in the time I was there having my questions answered, my accounts opened and also TD bankers making sure I am entitled to the current promotion. Ms Jenny also dished out helpful advise that is valuable to a foreigner like me. I must say its really concerning (like one of the customer reviewed here) that the branch tel number really don't work, nobody pick up despite me calling multiple times and holding on. Should I be calling the general line instead? On the other hand, Ms Jenny who helped me with my ac opening is very responsive via emails. Well, I am looking fwd to continue being a happy customer here for years to come.
