- IIicebergfishermanJun 21, 20251.0I have banked with Wells Fargo for 30 years. Multiple accounts, line of credit, auto loans and 401k. Saturday June 21st I brought my daughter into the branch in West Point by Smiths to add a savings account to her checking account and make a deposit. We were told by the teller they would not help us because they didn’t have time before they closed. I wasn’t standing there 5 minutes before they closed so I’m not sure if that even matters. It’s my only day off. Drove to Goldenwest Credit Union 2 minutes up the street and open two accounts. One for myself and one for my daughter. I’m leaving the my new credit union at 12:14 and Wellsfargo closed at 12:00. I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday to close my accounts at Wellsfargo instead of making a deposit on Saturday.
