- LPL PDec 20, 20251.0I was involved in a romance scam. My ex partner used my credit card unauthorized then made fraudulent payments. The branch manager said it wax too much paperwork for them to investigate. They closed my credit card without asking me any questions about what happened and basically told me it was too much paperwork to prove he did it. I was a customer for the bee 20 years and that’s how I was treated. I ignored all the bad stuff people would say about WF. Now im thinking it all must be true. I’ll never bank with them again. So disappointing that people who scam other people get away with it because banks don’t want to do The paperwork Ridiculous!
