- KMKaren McPhieOct 6, 20252.0I have been going to the Holladay branch of Wells Fargo for many years, and was totally satisfied and impressed with my personal banker Maxwell MacCloud until….. my banker, Maxwell left WF. I received no notice and just before my CDs were ready to renew I just got a standardized letter from Wells Fargo telling me to call ‘Steve’ to make an appointment to renew my CDs. The problem is that’Steve’ isn’t even at the Holladay branch!!! They changed me to a different branch w/o even my consent or knowledge and It’s further away from where I live and ‘Steve’ isn’t as high a level as I have been used to! Both of those changes are a deal breaker for me and it is quite disconcerting that a financial institution would make those decisions on my behalf without even considering my personal wishes without my permission or discussing them with me first! Despite the crowd, she greeted everyone warmly and assured them that she would assist them as soon as possible, all while maintaining focus on me and the transaction at hand. I shared my experience with Ruth during a conversation with a friend, and she also expressed similar sentiments about her experiences with Ruth!

Wells Fargo is lucky to have such a great person working for them. I hope he stays at this location until he retires because it was a real pleasure to work with him.
