Over several months, tried to set up my online account many times so I could turn off paper statements (paperless is my strong preference), but the web site always gave me an unknown error. The other day I noticed that Key charges a fee for every paper statement mailed out. This branch refused to refund or waive any of the fees, saying it was impossible, even though other banks have waived fees for me in the past and even though it was their web site error that forced me into paper statements. There are hundreds of banks and credit unions to choose from, and there is no cost to switch. Any bank resorting to nickel and dime tactics and unwilling to be flexible does not deserve to keep their customers.
