  I was just at the Wells Fargo office off Gentile in Layton. It is called the Fort Lane office. It was a frustrating and disappointing visit. The branch had customers at the three desks and they had no one working the teller line. One desk had two employees opening an account. The customer in front of me had been waiting for over 5 minutes and had been told they would just have to wait. I was the next in line and there were 4 others that came in behind me. One of the employees came over from her desk to help the first person and was told by, I assume, the manager that she needed to get back to her customer at the desk. I asked her what the rest of us should do and she said we would have to wait, not sure why she couldn't have helped us. I understand that things get busy but I stood for over 15 minutes with no one explaining the situation or even acknowledging my presence. Not the kind of customer service I expect. At that point I left and so did a couple of others. I drove to another branch on my way to an appointment and was promptly and courteously assisted. I am leaving this review in hopes that the Fort Lane branch will receive this feedback and improve their communication and client interaction.

  I always go here, the staffs friendly, they treat you like your important and tonight I was running late but was on my way down the road and I called at 5:59 Shannon answered I told her the situation she reopened one window so I could quickly cash a check that I needed to cash before I leave for 2 weeks for work tonight. Thanks shannon!
