- TMTy MangumDec 26, 20241.0Went in to close an account and was told by the Branch Manager that she can't close accounts and that it has to be done by a banker. I worked at Wells for many years and know for a fact that is not true. A Branch Manager can close an account. She also recommended that I close it using the WF App because there were no bankers available but you certainly cannot close accounts using the App.
