- JRJustin Rohrbaugh1 day ago1.0They are a predatory lending company. I tried to submit a payoff to them online only to be told after submitting it that it will charge interest and never you let pay it off. I paid over $1200 to pay off the remaining balance then it told me I needed to pay $79.63 so I submitted that payment. Then it said I owed an additional $58.91 and gave me a message that I needed to call them to process payoffs. I called and told them and all they did was process the $58.91 and no offer of a refund for charging lots of extra interest.

Knocked my original loan in half. Fell on hard times, ended up losing credit cards in process. Tried to do a few refinances. One denied because my income dropped when relocating for my wife's health. 2nd one denied because my credit based on the credit cards previously mentioned even though I was promoted twice in 3 months to lieutenant taking home $650 more monthly. Tried just to skip 1 payment and add to end of the note. No deal. So you be better off going somewhere else. Like I said I have been with them for close to 5 years. People are friendly as hell, but if you want customer service from the company you would be better at Republic.
