  An absolute nightmare. Capital One has caused us genuine pain for months, all because of a simple clerical error with a wrong phone number and date of birth. We begged, we pleaded, we did everything humanly possible to fix it: Showed up in person to the branch multiple times, only to be sent away empty-handed. Uploaded the correct documents through their “secure” link again and again. We were ignored every single time. Spent countless hours on the phone with outsourced representatives who barely speak English and have zero authority or ability to help It felt like screaming into a void. Every call was the same scripted nonsense, every promise to “escalate” led nowhere. We were trapped in an endless, soul-crushing loop of incompetence. This wasn’t just inconvenient. It was humiliating, stressful, and legitimately damaging. We wasted hours of our lives chasing something that should have taken five minutes to fix. None of the customer service representatives are based in the US. They read from scripts, transfer you endlessly, and ultimately can’t (or won’t) solve even the simplest problem. It’s a company that clearly does not care about its customers once they have your money. Today, after three months of pure torture, we finally closed the account in disgust. Do yourself a favor and run — far away — from Capital One credit cards. This was, without question, the most infuriating, degrading, and painful banking experience of our entire lives. Never again.

  This is the best Capital One bank we have been using since we start our plumbing company in 2020. All staff are courteous and responsible. And it’s sad to know that this branch will be closing in January 2026 and we won’t be seeing all the staff after that. The nearest branch near us will be those in Pearland. And that branch will be serving those Clear Lake residents and business owner and it will be an inconvenience to to one who leave in Clear Lake Area.
