  I called the Weatherford Branch and they refused to help me based on the fact I opened my account in Jacksboro almost 10 years ago. I have lived in Weatherford and have gone into that branch for many years now. I requested they change my branch and she said no and asked if I wanted the number for Jacksboro. I asked to speak to the manager and she replied, "That's who told me to tell you that." That is absolutely unacceptable. I called customer care and they apologized and said that it does not matter which branch you open your account at, any branch should be able to help you. Very disappointed in the customer service of Weatherford Prosperity Bank.

  This bank will charge you twice for overdrafting. We had an unauthorized charge bring our account below zero, they charged us a $35 fee the day it happened, then at the end of the month another "negative balance fee" of $20 in addition to the overdraft charge "for having a negative balance at any point during the previous month. The unauthorized charge AND the subsequent overdraft charge had both long been refunded. I will be closing my account here. I won't deal with an institution that penalizes mistakes in this way.
