- CRCynthia RoneyNov 4, 20231.0Our Mom had two checking accounts - personal and farm. We purposefully left these open when she passed away to pay bills until the estate settled. With zero notification (email, phone, or letter) to her or my sister who was also on the accounts, Prosperity froze the account. Esssential services on autopay (electric, water, phone) were returned unpaid. We weren't even able to view the accounts online anymore. This is terrible customer service and at the worst time when the family is dealing with so many other things.
