- ASAmanda SanfordMay 3, 20192.0I have been with this bank for a while now and why I havent switched to another bank is beyond me. Maybe its because I have memorized my acct and card number so its just been easier to stay. I do have to say that they are not very helpful, their system usually doesn't update over the weekend, so when I spend money on a Sunday, it is still showing Fridays balance. Also, why in the world would two Prosperity Bank locations offer money orders, but the main bank (beckham) doesnt offer them. You would think they would at least post a sign at the other two banks letting people know that? Oh and dont even get me started on the 5.00 bill pay fee for each bill you pay online, plus the $20 charge if your balance is negative anytime during the billing cycle. Not to mention the unlimited $35 overdraft charges. Please trust me and run FAR away from this bank. Only reason I am giving it two stars is because the ladies at the Bank on Broadway (and the spur location for the most part) are all so nice and professional, and they get you in and out of there quickly. I am going to check out Altra Credit Union later today and see what they are all about, as I have heard great things about them.
