  I went to the Tomball branch to cash a check only because my bank wanted to put a 7 day hold on the check and I needed the funds immediately. Therefore I went to the Tomball branch. Never have I been treated like a criminal. I presented the check with my DL, after standing there almost 5 mins she said she has to get approval am ok with that. That approval took almost 10 mins while am standing waiting eventually I heard Supervisor called the person who wrote the check to verify which is fine but hearing her say I see the check is not in sequence order made it look like its fraud. Anyway after being there 15 mins waiting she finally came back then proceeded to ask for my social number to my surprise I asked why am just cashing a check and the person verified the check she proceeded to say it's irs rules. I gave her my SS number and she finally gave me the funds I let her know am not pleased how I was treated. I left while I was about to drive off she came running to me she needs my ID again remember she had my ID for 15 mins plus I asked why oh you not in the system and made it worse by asking me what I do for a living. I was so stunned I looked at her with my work ID badge still around my neck I worked here as so and so. I told her if it was a white person they would not be treated that way. She took my ID back inside and brought it back. While waiting for ID i googled about the SS information it said some banks might asked but its not mandatory to give, said nothing about IRS. When she came back i told her she lied then she said thats our policy and if i didn't give her she would not cash the check. If the person verified the check why would you not cash the check. This borders me because the person who wrote the check confirmed to you on the phone they wrote the check why was I treated that way. I took the cash to my bank which was across the street and told them what happened they said no they don't asked these kinds of questions because all my years with my bank they will put a check on hold if I had not cashed one before. I feel humiliated

  Terrible service! Don't use!! Everytime we asked for simple services it was NO! The only thing they are good at is taking your money!
