    My banking experience has been pretty decent with TDECU; however, we got approved for a loan for a used car and filled out the paperwork to buy the car on December 11th. It is December 15 and we are still waiting for TDECU to communicate with us about the loan we’ve already been approved for and to fund the loan so we can pick up the car. One of the loan officers said it would be 7 to 10 days!!! Super frustrating because we could end up losing the vehicle if they sell it to someone else in the meantime. Who can wait 7 to 10 days for a vehicle?? Also, waiting on hold for 48 minutes is NOT ok, TDECU.

    The mobile app is horrible and half the time it wont let me log in. Trying to pay my credit card is more complicated than any other bank I have been with. Its 2025 and their online services are stuck in the 2000s.

    The only phone number I could find on Google is the 800 number, not the number at the branch. It took me forever after screaming at the robot on the phone to speak to a representative, and then the robot finally transferred me to a representative, and it said it was a 70-minute wait. I want more personal customer service and to be able to speak to a live person from the branch. If I can not speak to a human in a normal time frame and cannot speak to someone from the branch, then I will be withdrawing my money and going to another credit union. I am a human being and expect to talk to a human being.

    We were helped by Jasmine and she was awesome! So kind and patient, went through and showed us different options to see what would benefit us most. She also speaks Spanish for anyone that feels more comfortable speaking Spanish ask for Jasmine. So far she’s called to follow up and see if I need any help with things on the app and has walked me step by step to make sure I do it right. My husband and I are very thankful for her customer service
