- MRMichael RodriguezAug 11, 20251.0If you see this, do not deposit your money in this bank. If you have an account, pull your money immediately and go somewhere else. I opened an account with a small bank back in 2015 that got bought out time after time. From Integrity Bank to Independent financial to now South State Bank. Since South State took over there is no help for someone experiencing fraud. This bank was hacked and numerous people had their accounts hacked; this is an employee who told me they got hacked. After that, they locked my account made it where I have to go in person to get updates. The branch manager has no updates and states there is no way to contact anybody for an answer. Everything is a digital request that can take up-to 72 hrs for them to respond to me. They protect money to a certain which I did not meet and they told me, “Fraud will call me if they want to talk to me. You can talk to our fraud department.” The customer service has disappeared.
